The Art of Ecstatic Existence
What I refer to as 'the Ecstatic' has the following three aspects: physical existence, emotional and sensual (this is the most important form of ecstatic existence from the viewpoint of the ecstatic), and intellectual as well as spiritual existence.
The process of studying the above mentioned qualities is related to the crucial principle of proportion. Whether we understand this or not, Man's body is proportional. And breaking the laws of proportion leads to the loss of life in certain parts of the body, which further entails the loss of the conditions necessary for certain experiences.
The pursuit of the best emotions and states, in the intellectual and the spiritual sense, must be based on the laws of proportion applying to our bodies, our energy and our mind. Proportional development enables people to exert not so much their physical power or the power of their energy, but rather their spiritual power. Don't forget that people who possess spiritual power are above all philosophers.
We should also know that until the path pursued by our minds comes across the knowledge of spiritual power, our journey will be a lonely one. For this knowledge represents the highest level of intellectual development.
